Flexible Collapsible Design
The bowl features an expandable structure that can be opened for feeding or drinking and folded down after use. Its compact shape makes it easier to carry in a travel bag, backpack or pet supply kit.
Creating this flexible structure requires careful control of the silicone molding process so that each folding section can expand and collapse smoothly.
Silicone Compression Molding
During production, prepared silicone material is placed into a custom mold. Heat and pressure are then applied to form the material into the required bowl shape.
The mold determines important product details, including:
- Bowl dimensions and capacity
- Collapsible folding structure
- Rim and base shape
- Surface finish
- Product thickness
Stable molding conditions help maintain consistent shape, flexibility and appearance across each production batch.
Freshly Molded Pet Bowls
After molding, the bowls are removed from the mold and checked before moving to the next production stage. Excess silicone around the edges may be trimmed to create a clean and smooth finish.
Each bowl is inspected for visible defects, incomplete molding and irregular edges.
