Different Colors, Different Positions
For the products shown, the colored details are created using different colored silicone materials during molding.
The mold provides the shape, while the placement of the material determines where each color appears. A small accent and a larger colored section have different roles in the finished design, so the work involves more than simply filling the mold.
In the opening footage, a predominantly yellow design receives contrasting colored details. Later scenes show other combinations, including blue, purple, and yellow. Looking across these examples makes it easier to understand how individual color placements contribute to the overall appearance.
Why the Loading Sequence Matters
The workers repeat the placement process across multiple cavities in the mold. What may look like a repeated hand movement is part of building the intended color arrangement for each piece.
Following the planned loading sequence helps organize this work. Each material belongs in a particular area, and the operator works through those areas before the next production stage.
The exact sequence depends on the product and mold design. The video presents selected workshop moments rather than every stage of one product’s complete manufacturing cycle.
From the Mold to the Finished Product
The footage also shows the molding equipment in operation and products being removed from the mold.
The final close-up brings the process into focus. Once the product is held away from the mold, the separate color areas become easier to see as one complete design.
