How Silicone Travel Squeeze Bottles Are Made

Refillable travel bottles may look simple, but producing a flexible and consistent bottle body requires careful material placement, controlled molding and clean demolding.

In this behind-the-scenes video, we show part of the manufacturing process of a silicone travel squeeze bottle—from placing the silicone material into the mold to removing the newly formed bottle bodies and displaying the finished product.

Preparing the Silicone Material

The process begins by placing measured silicone material into the mold. Careful positioning helps the material flow into the required areas when the mold closes.

Because several bottle bodies are formed during one molding cycle, the material must be distributed consistently across the mold cavities.

Forming the Bottle Bodies Under Heat and Pressure

Once the material is in position, the mold closes and applies heat and pressure. During this stage, the silicone takes the shape and surface details defined by the mold.

After the molding cycle is complete, the mold opens to reveal multiple light-blue bottle bodies formed together.

Air-Assisted Demolding

Freshly molded silicone parts can remain closely fitted to the mold surface. In the video, compressed air is used to help release the flexible bottle bodies before they are removed by hand.

This makes the demolding process easier while helping the operator remove each part from the mold.

From Molded Part to Finished Travel Bottle

After demolding, the bottle bodies can move on to finishing steps such as trimming, inspection and assembly.

The final shot shows the compact finished bottle, ready to be used as a refillable container for compatible personal-care liquids.

The flexible bottle body allows controlled squeeze dispensing, while its compact form makes it suitable for travel kits, gym bags and everyday organization.
